Miracles do happen!

Life has a strange way of throwing curves, some good, some bad. I'm so excited that one of my curves resulted in a dream come true. For years, I've learned the craft of being an author by reading, writing reviews, soaking up websites and helpful facts from friends and already pubbed authors.

I had almost given up hope until I submitted a short story to The Wild Rose Press for their Through The Garden Gate Contest. NO, I didn't win, but I was asked to resubmit with a reworked plot. Beware What You Wish sold on January 26th, 2008 and my wonderful editor, Pam Winger, an awesome lady on the English Tea Rose line, will always be in my prayers. On the heels of experiencing my first jubilation and getting an all-around high from viewing the cover, I then found out I had sold Kensington's Soul on March 1st, 2008.

Both sales were awesome but Kensington's Soul was and still is close to my heart. My husband, who passed away in 2006, was with me when I researched some of the locale in Savannah for this book. It was the last trip we took together before his brain injury became worse. So this time, I cried for joy when I got an email from Callielynn Wolfe my now editor with the Black Rose line at The Wild Rose Press.

So, coming soon, I will have two books released. One is in the final stage for publication and the other is in the revision stage.

Saying all this, I want to encourage all writers who are trying to get their work published not to give up. You never know when you might receive that all important email or phone call.

Until next time, enjoy the blessings of life, write from the heart and soul and remember if you don't try you will never know what will happen.

Faith,

I am the first to admit that Kensington's Soul more than deserves publication! This is a wonderful story with lovable and, if I do say myself, steamy characters. Zacke and Miranda steal you heart and Zacke's backup team aren't too shabby either. Ooh la la!

The story is full of emotion, sensuality, and frightful tension. Your characters are well fleshed out, keeping the reader plunging forward to find out how these people grow and strengthen through all the adversity.

The good guys are heavenly and the bad guys are devilish. A wonderful beginning for a brand new vampire series.

With that said, I can't wait to get my mits on the next two books of the series. Get writing, Woman!

Hugs and Kudos to you for you new release!

Faith, you deserve all the best things, my friend. I didn't have Bridges for very long, but long enough to meet you, so if for no other reason, starting that long-ago mag was way worth it.

Congrats!,
Blessings,
Nicola
