WHAT A CHANGE LESS THAN A WEEK CAN MAKE!

Good news for those who might have been horrified that I would not be able to decide on something to write. You were not alone! After a lot of praying and wondering and worrying, one of my characters opened his mouth and said, "FINISH MY STORY!"

So I am happy to say, I got my derriere into my desk chair, looked over what I had previously written, revamped a few things, and now I am pleased to say, "Hawk's Salvation" is moving along. It might not be fast, but I think fans will love the 4th installment in the "Bound By Blood, The Legends" series.

It has been a long time since I truly felt like Hawk was talking to me. When you write, you have to feel a connection to your work, your characters, and you must feel like what you are writing will appeal to readers.  I did not feel that for an extremely long stretch of time.

Now, with a new path in mind for my heroine and a peaceful feeling when I think about this book, I am so thankful that God has given me the zeal to write it.  I have felt that I let my fans and Hawk down by putting this book on the back burner. I want to give him his story of love and redemption for what happened in "Gideon's Heart" the 3rd book in the series.

So to all the winners in previous contests, where you won the prize of being one of the victims in this book, be patient a bit longer. I am truly blessed with fans who know that an author is human, and events can happen to make it hard to do what you truly want to do.

So in the meantime, read a good book, be blessed, and hugs!

HEROES AND HEROINES, WHERE ARE YOU?

Okay, those of you that know me know I seldom take time off from editing, school, and the full-time job.  Well this weekend was supposed to be my weekend, to write, and only write.  However, my awesome ladies and gentlemen, vampires and immortals and Highlanders, what-have-you have decided to go on hiatus. It is my own fault, for so long I have shushed them to leave me alone. I told them, I have to finish doing  this or that before I can get back to you, and now they are paying me back in kind. So here is hoping and praying they will let bygones be bygones!
